This is a highly-capable and strong chassis for your next robotics research project! Chassis components are CNC machined from aircraft aluminum. 37mm DC gear motors are included, two with encoders to enable dead-reckoning. These motors have plenty of power to turn on a variety of surfaces, even with a substantial payload (customers have built bots weighing up to 10 pounds based on this chassis).
This version of our 4WD research robot kit is configured with larger tires to improve ground clearance for rough terrain applications.
